The presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today July 13, 2016 begin a five-day tour in the Ashanti region as part of his ‘arise for change tour’.

He will  hold series of meetings with regional executives, former regional appointees, Members of Parliament (MPs), market women, students and artisans.

Nana Addo is expected to pay courtesy calls on the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia palace, some chiefs and other prominent religious leaders in the region.

According to the regional secretary of the party, Sam Pyne the flagbearer would be given a befitting welcoming ceremony by the people of the Ashanti region

“He will be in the region on two occasions before the date of the elections. People craving for change will embrace his visit, I know it’s going to be a successful tour,” he told Ultimate radio.
