Ghanaian forward Abdul Majeed Waris made his French Ligue 1 debut for FC Lorient in their home game against SC Bastia.
Majeed Waris was given a start on his debut on Sunday and went on to play in the full duration of the game.
The French club signed the Black Star forward after Jordan Ayew left the club for English Premier League side Aston Villa.
Lorient came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw in the game against SC Bastia. Floyd Ayite opened the scoring for Bastia before Benjamin Moukandjo leveled from the penalty spot to share the spoils on the day.
Abdul Majeed Waris will hope for a successful stay with the French club after a hard time with Trabzonspor.
