The board in a letter reminded Opoku Nti that his tenure as the General Manager of the club will come to an end in June, but he should write to explain why he should be allowed to stay in office until the end of the season.
The 2-year mandate of Opoku Nti as the General Manager of the Porcupine warriors ended in June but he has been instructed to supervise the team until the end of the season.
He replied stating that because the season is ongoing it would be inappropriate for him to leave office, so the board should permit him to be in charge of the management team until the season ends.
Pulse Sports understands the board has granted Opoku Nti his request.
The ex-skipper of the Porcupine Warriors was named to replace his boss Dr. K.K Sarpong as the head of the management team in 2013, when the former resigned. Before his appointment he was the personal assistant of Dr. K.K Sarpong.
Opoku Nti in his first season in charge helped the team to win a historic double of league and FA Cup in the 2013-14 season.
