Technical director: “Players’ pressure compelled us to field new squad against Liberty”

Inter Allies have explained that pressure from players forced them to select entirely new squad against Liberty Professionals.

Inter Allies on match day one put up a splendid performance to edge Aduana Stars by 2-0 at the Tema Sports Stadium, but made 7 changes to the team to face Liberty Professionals and suffered 1-2 defeat.

The Technical Director of the team, Willie Klutse has explained that they gave the other players’ the opportunity to play to also test their strength.

“There were a lot of rumours in the team amongst players who didn’t get the chance to play against Aduana Stars that they should also be given the opportunity to play for the sake of winning bonus.

“And because we have Elite Cup, FA Cup, in addition to the league to play, we decided to test their strength against Liberty Professionals.
