Nii Noi Nortey congratulates Zanetor Rawlings

Dr. Rawlings polled 33,609 votes of valid votes cast while Philip Addison polled 29,122 votes in the parliamentary elections.

The independent parliamentary candidate Nii Noi Nortey has congratulated the Member of Parliament elect for the Klottey Korle constituency, Dr, Zanetor Agyeman- Rawlings for emerging victorious.

Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, was declared winner in the Klottey Korle constituency after she defeated lawyer Philip Addison who contested on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Valentino Nii Noi Nortey who quit the NPP to contest as an independent party after losing the primaries polled 3,911 votes.

However, in a Facebook post, he said, "Congratulations to Dr Zanetor Rawlings for emerging victorious in the Klottey Korle parliamentary elections. To my hard working team across, the love is deep. You've shown me much love and I want to say thank you. 3,911 votes as an independent candidate in a constituency as Klottey Korle tells how hard working and dedicated you all were."

"I must say, all of you did your best and put in your all. Let's all be calm and congratulate ourselves for the hard work done. This is not the end of the journey, you all have become family. Streetism still lives," he added.
