Lawyer for 14 of the judges indicted in the Anas Judicial Scandal has taken a swipe at Ghanaians for what he calls “holier than thou” attitude on corruption.
The lawyer added that he is gradually getting tired of the hypocritical behavior of a large section of Ghanaians who are pretending that they themselves are not corrupt.
John Ndebugri said this on Citi FM's Eyewitness news in relation to the large public uproar that has come with the Judicial Scandal in which some 22 judges are alleged to have taken bribes from undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The scandal has ignited a massive public outcry with many people calling for the video to be made public to shame the alleged corrupt judges. Lawyer John Ndebugri argued that such people agitating for the video to be made public and those showing it are being “lawless.”

Meanwhile one of indicted judges, Justice Paul Dery has sued a number of companies who showed the video including UTV, AICC and the Global Cinemas for contempt
