The champions will start their title in defence with a difficult assignment against the Scientific Soccer lads.
Another tricky fixture is the Brong Ahafo derby between Techiman City and Aduana Stars. This season Techiman City at the Nana Ameyaw Park handed Aduana Stars a 1-0 defeat, so it would be a repeat or a revenge time.
Meanwhile the two most successful clubs in the history of the competition, Hearts of oak, 10 times champions and Asante Kotoko, 8 times champions were paired against relatively weaker oppositions. Ak Shion will host Kumasi Asante Kotoko, while Hearts of Oak will take on Wassaman in Accra.
The league champions Ashgold will also welcome Sun City to the Len Clay Sports Stadium.
The occasion was graced by Kwesi Nyanyakyi, the president of the Ghana Football Association, whereas Sanni Darra, the GFA Communications director was the moderator for the draw.
The round of 64 games will be played in the Easter weekend, which falls on 26 and 27 March.
