Suspended National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Afoko has condemned recent attacks which occurred at the party headquarters in Accra.

However, a statement signed by Nana Yaw Osei, Spokesperson for Mr. Afoko, said "the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has learnt with dismay the incidents at the party headquarters, and on the party's parliamentary candidate for the Klottey Korley Constituency, Nii Noi Nortey."

"Mr. Afoko condemns in no uncertain terms these incidents and describes same as dents on the party's image. Reports of weapons having been found at the party headquarters is even more worrying," the statement added.

According to Mr. Afoko, "these developments are distasteful especially at a time Mr. Afoko is challenging the constitutional breaches some party members have persistently engaged in."
