Australia denies singer entry for beating Rihanna

Australian immigration officials claim the pop superstar lacks the proper character to enter their borders.

Chris Brown has been denied entrance into Australia for the sole reason that he once beat up a woman - Rihanna!

According to reports Australian immigration officials claim the pop superstar lacks the proper character to enter their borders.

The 'Liquor' singer was billed for an Australian tour in December but immigration officials want to lower the boom saying: "People need to understand if you are going to commit domestic violence and then you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you, 'You cannot come in because you are not of the character we expect in Australia."

The Prime Minister of Australia sided the sentiment, saying it was "brilliantly expressed."

Brown's tour wasn't well received in Australia after people took to the streets to protest against his coming into Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

The visa has not been denied yet, but the handwriting may be on the wall, TMZ reports.

Australia is not the only country to deny Breezy a stay. Brown's application for visas have also  been rejected in Britain, Canada and New Zealand.
