In a recent interview with TV3, Samini revisited the topic, where he revealed Sarkodie has since not shown remorse for his actions toward him. He adds that until Sarkodie asks for forgiveness, he will not let it go.
"Okay, so you clearly haven't moved on from that [feud with Sarkodie]" Berla Mundi the host asked, and Samini replied "No". Berla further asked: "You haven't forgiven him?" and the dancehall star said "no".
"Has he [Sarkodie] asked for forgiveness?" the host probed, to which Samini replied "no". Asked if he'll forgive the rapper should he ask for forgiveness, Samini replied affirmatively.
“If a man is remorseful and tells you, 'Charlie, sorry that I pour red oil on your white attire', you're cool. But if the man tells you, 'this small thing, you've taken it seriously', how are you going to be cool? That type of 'I forgive you' is 'I leave you to God' kind of forgiveness and not that I've forgiven you. It's 'I leave you to the Maker'. You think you're cool. Go around and just keep pouring.”
A few months ago, Samini called out Sarkodie for disrespecting him by not responding to his collaboration request for the 2021 Burning EP. According to Samini, when Sarkodie was asked about their broken relationship in a radio interview, he shrugged off the topic.
Samini details that he contributed his part to Sarkodie's "Love Rock" track for free, but when he needed Sarkodie's help, he didn't get it.
