When it comes to news, Cable Network News (CNN) is one of the most trusted international news channels. The Turner Broadcasting System channel goes beyond news. CNN International also has programming dedicated specifically a variety of topics including to business, entertainment, and culture.

There are weekly shows, which explore African countries, trends and personalities. Pulse Nigeria presents a list of African focused shows.

"Inside Africa"

Inside Africa explores the mixed bag of culture on the continent. The feature programme has been running for the past 16 years on CNN International. Kenyan journalist Soni Methu is the host of this show.

"African Voices"

In August 2015, Lagos based presenter Keturah King was named as the new host of "African Voices". The show focuses on personalities and influencers in culture moieties including music, fashion, art, travel and more.

"CNN Marketplace Africa"

CNN Marketplace Africa looks at the business trends affecting the continent and the position of various regions in the global market. The show is currently hosted by Zain Asher who is a British-Nigerian news anchor.

"African Start-Up"

This comes up as a weekly segment in ‘Connect the World’. Entrepreneurs from all over Africa are interviewed about their business strategies and operations.

"Africa View"

Africa View was launched in January 2015. The series comes up weekly on ‘Connect the World’. Using data and insights, CNN takes a look at the drives shaping Africa.
