Tee is under a lot of pressure and stress from work. He is a ticking bomb, irked about Dede's recent laziness in the home. He finally explodes and Dede sees a side of him she has never seen.
Tee gets home from work and finds the house untidy. He also discovers that Dede didn't take his suit to the dry cleaner. As if these are not enough to upset him, a busy Dede says there's no dinner for him as she has been busy with work all day.

An angry and frustrated Tee gets into an argument with Dede. He yells and says some hurtful things to her.
Following the heated argument, Tee decides to visit his mum in Ibadan, while Dede invites her father over to the house.

Dede's father advices her not to take her marriage with Tee for granted. He also apologises on behalf of him and encourages his daughter to forgive him.
Tee's mum advises him to love and care for his wife. "Remember you are her husband, lover , friend and companion, not her master," she says to him.
Dede gets a cufflink for Tee with an apology note on the box. Tee gets back home from his trip and apologises to her.
