As to what went into this remarkable achievement, Beaumont said "this has been, without doubt, the most punishing challenge I have ever put my body and mind through.”
He began the journey in France on July 2 and made his way through frigid sub-zero winters in Australia and New Zealand.
Hurricane Irma that created bad weather in the United States was one of the likely impediments he suffered before ending the accomplishment by progressing through the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
Mark Beaumont has also by this, broken the world record of 123 days and 43 minutes set by Andrew Nicholson from New Zealand, on the path he labeled the "Artemis World Cycle."
