A 74-year-old father has snatched his 35-year-old sons wife in a bizarre love triangle.

For Jason Harwood, 35, from England, he will not forget in a hurry how is 36-year-old wife, Liza Goddard, dumped him so she could marry his 74-year-old father, John, reports Metro UK.

The Harwood and Goddard had been married for only eight months and lived with his old father for a while, when she fell in love with 'daddy' and began sleeping with him secretly.

Then she moved a step further by becoming her husband's step-mother when she became John's wife, a man who is nearly 40 years older than her.

The heartbroken Harwood said he became suspicious of his father and his wife after the trio lived together in Slough, Berkshire, but he only came to realise that the duo had been cheating behind him after his father told him he was engaged to a woman and went to congratulate him.

That was when he met the shock of his life when he realised that the woman his father had engaged to was his own wife who had moved out of his house a few weeks earlier due to some disagreement.

To make matters worse for him, Harwood said that while he was arguing with his father over his choice of a new wife, Goddard walked in and told him:

"You better get used to the idea that I am going to be your stepmother."
