George Kirby, 103, and Doreen Luckie, 92, are finally married!

George and Doreen had been together for 27 years, got engaged on Valentine’s day and finally tied the knot on Saturday, Guardian reports.

Although this lovely pair only agreed to get to tie the knot due to pressure from their kids, their wedding was definitely not under duress.

Concerning the timing their special day, Doreen said she and George had no regrets about not marrying earlier, “we didn’t want to bother about marriage before but eventually we did it."

George added, ""We seem to have made every national newspaper. Good job I ddn't marry her years ago."

The ceremony was held at the Langham hotel in the seaside town of Eastbourne, southern England, with close friends and family as witnesses.

Their union is already blessed with seven children, 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren between them.

George and Doreen are officially the oldest married couple according to the Guinness Book of Records, their combined ages of 194 years and 281 days beats the current record of 191 years and 126 days.
