Miss Galaxy Ghana 2015 calls for entries

Miss Galaxy Ghana has called for auditions scheduled for the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.

A new beauty pageant, Miss Galaxy Ghana, which seeks to groom young ladies to champion the need for good environmental practices in the country, has called for auditions scheduled for the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.

The maiden edition of the pageant, which has Too Sweet Annan of Trisha fame, Princess Shyngle, Jose Tolbert and Janice Gash, as judges, is also aimed at creating a platform for young ladies to exhibit not just their beauty but their understanding of good and bad environmental practices as well.

Themed, “Impacting the World through beauty”, the Miss Galaxy Ghana  pageant is expected to give aspiring beauty queens between the ages of 17 to 28 years who possess the qualities- beauty, intelligence, courage, eloquence and confidence-  a taste of stardom and  the opportunity to be groomed  as well.

“ Ladies possessing all these unique qualities will have to get their auditions forms from Photo Store , Accra Mall,  T Havana in Tema or log on to the event website   to download an auditions form in addition to a full length photograph and passport size picture for submission,” a statement from the organisers said.


Apart from the crown, car, scholarship package from Sikkim Manipal University, cash prize among others that the first winner of the pageant will take home, other contestants will also get consolation prizes which include being part of LTV Films or Bliss Connect TV to pursue their ambitions of being environmental ambassadors.

Activities lined up to make the pageant interesting for its contestants are exclusive photo shoots, fun trips, sponsors visits, street fashion shows among others.

Miss Galaxy Ghana 2015 is a Dukes Media House production, in collaboration with Eduenter Group Ghana (eGG) and sponsored by Event Focus, Sikkim Manipal University,, Agate Transport, Salley Signatures, Nhyira Food Ltd, El-Gosh Investment and many more.
