Registration opens for the 2016 e.TV Ghana/Japan Motors corporate run

This year’s event is scheduled for Wednesday 21 September, 2016 at the Silver Star Tower in Accra.

The event is aimed at bringing corporate institutions in Ghana together to promote health and networking through team-building and physical activities. This year’s event is specially dedicated to the promotion of peace and unity before, during and after the elections. As has been the custom, some proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ghana Blind Union.

According to Kwame Gyan, Head of Brands Communication and Marketing of Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company, operator’s e.tv Ghana, "The main aim of the annual Corporate Run is to provide a better platform for corporate institutions and their staff to interact and socialize while engaging in healthy activities," adding that, ‘’due to the demanding nature of most jobs, it is almost impossible for people to make time for exercising and other healthy activities, hence the collaboration between these two companies to encourage the culture of keeping fit.’’ He continued that the launch has opened registration and urged all those in the corporate world to come and participate fully.

On her part Hilda Peasah, Marketing Manager of Japan Motors, noted that "the objective of Japan Motors and e.TV Ghana is to promote healthy lifestyle through healthy while providing a platform for all corporate bodies to interact and network outside the business environment.’’ This is the 6th time we are organizing the Corporate Run with e.tv Ghana and we are hoping to witness more organizations and individuals partake in this year’s event, she said. Mrs. Peasah urged corporate institutions and individuals who did not get the chance to participate last year to join us keep fit and to promote a peaceful elections.

The race will start at 6:00am from the Silver Star Tower to the Akuafo Circle at 37 Hospital, turn left to the El-Wak traffic lights, then left to the Airport Round-About, left to the Airport Traffic Lights   and ends at the Silver Star Tower. Other activities to be held on the day include an exhibition, an awards ceremony, and medical screening.

Registration for single entry is 30 Cedis while corporate entry is 120 Cedis for a group of five. Registration centers include e.TV Ghana and Happy FM, Asylum Down, Silver Star Tower, Airport City, YFM, Accra Mall and Global Cinemas, Weija.
