Maccasio pulled a mammoth crowd to patronise his album launch and concert held at the Tamale Sports Stadium Saturday, August 20 and that was certainly a record considering the fact that he is not a mainstream artiste in southern Ghana.

Ahead of the event, Maccasio and Medikal stormed the city and blocked major roads while floating. Over 30,000 people came out to catch a glimpse of the two stars amidst motorbike stunts and drumming.

And, at the album launch and concert, Maccasio managed to pull over 10,000 crowd, filling half of the 20,000 capacity stadium.

Before the “Too Big” hitmaker mounted the stage, he had the patrons thrilled by some top Tamale-based stars including Don Sigli, Choggu Boys, One9ra, Mama Rams, Gaffachi, Arisky, Flower Gaskia, IsRahim, 2s, Wizchild and Kawastone.

Medikal, on the other hand, cleared the way for Maccasio with an awe-inspiring performance. He dropped hits after hits from his catalogue and lasted for about 30 minutes on the stage.

The arrival of Maccasio was met by elephantine cheers and merrymaking amidst fireworks.

Elated Maccasio took over the stage with great euphoria, dropping hits after hits from his latest collection. He moved the crowd with every single performance and had them sing along to all his songs.

Even though the event was supposed to end at 5 am on Sunday, August 20, the time was extended because Maccasio had more to drop on his 18-track album.

Maccasio ended his stupendous and phenomenal performance with the title track of his album.

Overall, “Ninsala” album launch and concert was a success. Kudos to Maccasio and his management for putting up such a memorable event.
