Protein-fortified meals for vegetarians

If you’re a vegetarian or cutting back on meat good alternative sources of protein include; beans, nuts and soy products.

 

Protein is important for our health, without it our bodies won’t function at their best.

Proteins are essential for both our brains and muscles, however generally speaking we get a majority of our proteins from meats which can make things tricky if your a vegetarian.

You can put together a quick protein rich breakfast by adding cashew nuts, which also contain omega-3 acids, to a salad dish.
