Today, Dr. Pimple Popperaka dermatologist and TLC star Dr. Sandra Lee MD posted an Instagram video in which she reaches into a patients lower back and pulls out a fistful of bright orange, squishy lipoma, resembling an intestine from a horror movie.
To the side, someone keeps the patient up to date in Spanish, while Dr. Lee gives her own characteristically cheerful explanation. Just tugging and squeezing you, she chirps, like when you have a baby, almost.
Were hoping that didnt get translated to the patient literally. Its weird enough untranslated.
Lipomas, frequent stars of Dr. Pimple Popper videos , are mushy lumps of overgrown fat cells that accumulate beneath the skin. They tend to appear on the shoulders, chest, trunk, neck, thighs, and armpits, and are mostly harmlessbut can cause pain and psychological discomfort stemming from their appearance.
Dr. Pimple Popper manages to pull out about half of this big one before trimming it with scissors and snipping it. Maybe well see the rest of the operation tomorrow. Hasta maana!
