  • Take Naps

As the baby starts to grow, you will experience changes in your body. Pregnant women need extra energy to stay fit and healthy throughout the day.

Shorts naps for thirty minutes to an hour are very necessary during the middle of the day. Housewives might want to take a thirty-minute nap to help their body unwind after doing house chores. If you cannot sleep, simply lay down for thirty minutes to give your body time to rest.

  • Get Help with Household Chores

This is time to say NO to certain exhausting duties and get someone to help you with house chores. Getting help with household chores is a good way to reduce stress because there are some chores that you will no longer be able to do safely or easily when you become pregnant.

  • Exercising

Walking is a safe form of exercise during pregnancy. Taking a brisk walk in the mornings before work or starting the day gives your body a chance to wake up and time to think about the upcoming day. You will feel more energy after walking and feel less stressed. Walks are also great at lunchtime or before supper. Avoid walking before bedtime, however, because you might have trouble falling asleep at night.

  • Laughter

Laughter is a great way to reduce stress during pregnancy. Laughter releases chemicals in the brain that improve our mood and help us feel better. Read more comic books or also watch funny movies to lighten your mood every day.
