It’s no secret that celebrities go all out for the Met Gala—

But Bella Hadid is probably getting the most attention for her look—she used the Met Gala to debut a major hair change.

Bella is known for her long, flowing dark hair, which she’s had pretty much ever since she hit the spotlight.

But on Monday night, she debuted a new shoulder-grazing cut that’s sleek, trendy, and makes her cheekbones look ah-mazing.

Celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin gave a little insight into the look when she Instagrammed a gif of Bella’s new lob on Monday night. “When that new new haircut is on POINT,” she wrote in the caption, noting that celebrity hairstylist Ward Stegerhoek (who also posted a bunch of photos and videos of the cut) was responsible for the chop.

Then, Bella shared the story behind the new look on Instagram Tuesday morning. “When @inezandvinoodh@gb65 @ward_hair ask you to cut your hair for your new @vogueitalia cover ...the answer is yes!” she captioned a shot of herself on the red carpet. “And no better carpet to show it off than the MET! Thank you for an amazing night Anna @voguemagazine and of course my amazing date @alexanderwangny.”
