Management of the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) have been asked by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) to padding its former CEO Gilbert Seidu Iddi for wasting GHc186, 372 on a trip to Turkey in 2012.

The Audit report revealed that the trip related to SADA and the eight district assemblies that organised the sister city tour to Istanbul is a wasteful expenditure and the money should be refunded.According to the 2013 Audit report SADA has also been unsuccessfully in recovering the one million dollars which was taken out of its coffers by the Finance Ministry to pay for certain construction company.SADA has been able to retrieve only GH¢ 66,000 out of the over GH¢ 2.7 million from Kukobila and Plus One who were engaged under the SADA initiative to produce and export sheanut squash.

He has however asked the former CEO to go to court if he feels he’s been treated unfairly.
