Court throws out 225 ex-soldiers case against Chief of Defence Staff

In their suit, the ex-military officers described as unlawful deductions made by the CDS on their end-of-service benefits.

The ex-military officers who were recruited within the year 1988 and 1989 had served for over 25 years before commencing their terminal leave in December 2014.

They prayed the court for an order to be directed at the CDS and the A-G to cause them to pay the deductions made on their entitlements as approved by the government.
