Mahama turns 59-years today. Celebrating the former president, the security team working at his residence sang a happy birthday song for him.

"I received a happy birthday song from my dedicated security personnel and staff. The voices were not the best, but the sincerity is very much appreciated," Mahama said in a Facebook post.

Meanwhile, former Minister of Trades and Industry, Dr Ekwow Spio-Garbrah has also sent a congratulatory message to Mahama on the occasion of his 59th birthday.

He said "H.E John Mahama, on the occasion of your 59th birthday, your colleague and friend, Ekwow Spio Garbrah extends his warmest greetings to you, and to say long life to you and your family. God be with you".
