The suspended national chairman of the New Patriotic Party Paul Afoko has issued a statement cautioning members of the National Executive Committee to ignore a meeting organised by acting chairman Freddie Blay.

A statement issued and signed by the spokesperson for Afoko, Nana Yaw Osei, said members of NEC must take notice of an “interim injunction served on the party restraining the party and Mr. Freddie Blay from holding any meetings and also holding himself out as the acting national chairman, until the substantive motion is heard and disposed of”.

According to Mr. Afoko, he is unaware of the meeting neither is the general secretary Kwabena Agyepong.
