Antonio Conte parts ways with Chelsea after 2 years

The Italian was informed that he was axed at a meeting today after two years in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck visited Chelsea’s to Cobham training ground this morning to deliver the news to Conte who won the Premier League title and the FA Cup during his two-year stint at the club.

The first-team players were then given afternoon off from their pre-season training regime.

Buck was spotted leaving the training ground at 2.10pm in his classic Porsche after delivering the news, which has been sought after by a section of football fans since the end of last season.

Napoli manager Maurizio Sarrri is the one expected to take over the ranks from Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge

However, the 48-year-old had reported back for duty at the start of the week amidst rumors of his impending sack.

The Chelsea board seem to be trying to agree a deal with Marizio Sarri which looks to have come to a conclusion resulting to the sack.

Sarri will look to be as well accompanied by midfielder Jorginho to the London club.

Meanwhile, the club have agreed to pay off Antonio Conte £9million which due him for the remaining year of his contact.
