Eight players sent home from Black Meteors camp over age cheating
Hearts of Oak striker Joseph Esso and seven others have been sent packing from the camp of the Ghana u-23 national football team for failing to meet the age limit for the upcoming African qualifiers according to Happy FM.

However, it has been reported that eight of the 23 players failed to make the age requirement for the competition.
Below is the list of players who couldn’t to meet the age limit set for the competition.

Cletus Nombil - Dreams FC
Douglas Owusu-Ansah - Asante Kotoko
Toufic Mohammed - Star Madrid
Ibrahim Yaro - Medeama SC
Moro Salifu - Bechem United
The Meteors will host neighbours Togo on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, in the first leg of the first round of CAF U-23 Championship qualifier.
Out of thirty countries lined up for the qualifiers, seven will join host Egypt for next year’s championship.
The first three teams from the competition in Egypt next year will represent Africa at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.
