Here is how much Kotoko players received after qualifying for Confederation Cup group stage

Dr. Kwame Kyei, the chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko is expected to give each player of the club $500 after qualifying for the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors defeated Coton Sport Garoua 2-1 on Sunday in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup in Kumasi via goals from Amos Frimpong and Maxwell Baako, before the visitors pulled one back.

The win handed Asante Kotoko a qualification into the group stage of the competition 5-3 on aggregate.

Dr. Kwame Kyei who promised to reward the playing body of the team is expected to give each person $500 for their gallant display.

They have qualified for the group stage of the CAF inter club competitions for the first time in 11 years.
