Register General yet to receive document to dissolve GFA

The Registrar General office is yet to acquire an official document to take charge of the GFA's assets

This in response to a court ruling by the Accra High Court which appointed the Registrar of Companies as the official liquidator for GFA.

The ruling also affirmed that an application by the Attorney General had been granted to restrain members and executives of the GFA from holding themselves such and carrying out any official work.

The decision by the court puts the Registrar of Companies in-charge of all assets of the GFA for the meantime whilst the substantive case of the liquidation is being heard by the courts.
