Abdul Salam Yakubu: New Edubiase will easily avoid relegation

The President of the New Edubiase United club is optimistic his side will survive relegation in the ongoing league.

Abdul Salam Yakubu has indicated that

New Edubiase United are lying at bottom of the 16-club Ghana Premier League table, after match day 23, with 7 games to end the season.

Ahead of their tie against West African Football Academy (WAFA) at Obuasi on Saturday SAbdul Salam Yakubu is hopeful the 2012 Ghana FA Cup champions will beat relegation.

“We will do everything to avoid relegation. This league is the easiest one to survive relegation. Edubiase will play in the league next season.

"We will beat WAFA because it is one of the matches we have tipped to win all the three points in our bid to avoid relegation,” he told Happy FM.

New Edubiase have been a participant of the Ghana Premier League since they got promoted to the topflight league in the 2010-11 season.
