Manu Tuilagi has been ruled out of England's forthcoming tour to Australia through injury.
Manu Tuilagi to miss Australia tour
England will be without Manu Tuilagi for the tour to Australia due to a hamstring injury.
The Leicester Tigers centre had been included in Eddie Jones' 32-man squad for the three Tests despite struggling with a hamstring problem picked up in the Premiership semi-finals.
However, following a scan on Monday, Tuilagi has now been advised to sit out the fixtures.
"It's bad luck for Manu so close to the tour but it provides a great opportunity for someone else," said head coach Eddie Jones. "We wish Manu all the best and a quick recovery."
A replacement for Tuilagi will not be named until after Sunday's clash with Wales at Twickenham.
England kick off their Australia series in Brisbane on June 11.
