CPP's Ivor Greentreet elected Secretary of SFF

Ivor Greenstreet was on last week Saturday elected the Secretary of the Shooting Sports Federation.

He was part of the new executives elected at their annual meeting at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra on Saturday to run the federation with effect from 2017.

Meanwhile, Lian Walsh and Edmund E. Ani were voted as President and Treasurer respectively.

The Shooting Federation was established to promote shooting sports in Ghana and also help Ghanaians to compete internationally.

Shooting Federation Federation have in the past participated in competitions such as the Commonwealth Games, African Championships and World Cups and at the moment they train athletes to contest in six categories including Rifle and Shotgun shooters, Junior and Disabled teams.

There  are also plans in place to add Air rifle and Pistol to make it eight different disciplines in total, as the Shooting Sports Federation prepare for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
