Ghanaian boxer Richard Commey is set to go into his next fight with a new trainer on Saturday.
Commey faces Alejandro Luna but this time he goes in with a new aid to get him ready for bouts this nature.
Carl Lokko has been replaced by well renowned American trainer Andre Rozier.
Richard Commey spoke was elated when he spoke to the media on switching trainers.
“The change to Andre Rozier as my trainer was something I needed and wanted. I’m very happy to be working with one of the best trainers in the country and so far he’s helped me improve in many ways,”
Richard also spoke ahead of his bout against the undefeated Alejandro Luna on 10 March in Texas.
“I know that Luna is going to apply pressure and come forward. He’s going to look to throw big right hands, so we’re getting ready for all of that.
“I just have to stick to my game plan and make sure I’m always first. My job is to go in and get the win and convince the judges any way that I can that I’m the better fighter.”
Andre Rozier has guided boxers like WBA middleweight titleholder Daniel Jacobs, Joe Greene, Curtis Stevens, Gary Stark Jr., Sadam Ali and Ivan Golub.
