Aduana Stars coach Yusif Abubakar believes his side has a chance to qualify over Algerian counterparts ES Setif in to the next stage of the Caf Champions League.

Aduana Stars beat ES Setif 1-0 kind courtesy a penalty effected by Sam Adams at Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.

Head Coach of the side Abubakar was very resolute that his team has what it takes to get the result in Dormaa

“We knew they will give us a tough match and they did. I will never give up regardless of the score line.

I’m still remaining confident until the tie is over, and I trust that we will also give them a tough time in the second leg,” he said.

They played a very defensive game and were applying a lot of delay tactics so it was difficult to break them down. That does not mean that we will also be defensive when we go there. We will find a way.”

Aduana plays ES Setif at the Stade Mai 8 1954 in Setif on 16March in Setif.

The Champions of the Ghana Premier League will hope to make the group stages of the Caf Champions League after getting past ES Setif.
