In a Facebook post on Jan 30, Ms Stella Ooi, from Penang, wrote that her child's photo was tagged with the name "SH Dato Lee", but she did not know this person.

Her husband claimed that she had a relationship with "SH Dato Lee", she said.

She added that she had two cracks in her skull and was deaf in her right ear.

Photos on Facebook showed bruises on her face, arms and thigh.

In later posts, she said that she had reported the abuse to the police and was no longer with her husband.

On Feb 4, she posted that her injuries had largely healed and she could finally go out.
