Court throws out PUWU's injunction suit against ECG privatisation

She explained that the state had more to lose if the injunction was granted, and further urged the government and ECG workers to continue negotiations in order to get to an amicable agreement.

PUWU in October 3, 2017 dragged the ECG, the Attorney-General and the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) to court in over the privatization of ECG.

They had demanded severance packages for ECG workers because of the privatization move.
