Herbert Addo, head coach of Inter Allies says his side lacks the ‘fighting spirit’ during matches.
The Tema-based club succumbed to their second successive league defeat on Saturday in Cape Coast against Ebusua Dwarfs.
Gockel Ahortor's thunderous free-kick was the only consolation after Nicholas Gyan, Samuel Quayson had given the Dwarfs a 2-goal lead. A third from substitute Bright Lukman in the second half was enough to earn the 'Abontobontoa' Boys a win.
And Herbert Addo, who had no complaints from the result, blamed his team's lack of fighting spirit.
"No complaints because we did not play as we should have played. We were too dull and not sharp enough and Dwarfs were sharp and the expected result is what they got,” Herbert Addo told Super Sport after the game.
"If you're not prepared to fight, and your opponent is prepared to fight, expect to get into a real problem. And that was what Dwarfs took advantage of."
Hebert Addo also praised the tactics of his opposite number, and wished them good luck in subsequent matches.
"Dwarfs did very well, their tactics worked. They were sending the ball up and our central defenders were not very good today and they got the goals. I wish them good luck in their next games,” he added.
