Happy bride dies a day before her wedding after falling into a well

Fatima Abubakar tripped and fell into a well at her bridal shower in Danbatta, northern Nigeria.
Reports say the 16-year-old lady was set to tie the knot with her fiancé on Thursday.
The BBC reported her father as saying that she was standing very close to the well when the accident happened at her aunt’s home on Wednesday, where she was celebrating with friends.

The bereaved father added that his daughter was very excited about the wedding because she and her fiancé were very much in love and they could not wait to officially become husband and wife.
According to the deceased’s father, the guests who were expected to attend the wedding event were thrown in a state of mourning.
