A trending video shows former President Mahama and incumbent president Akufo Addo clashing on live TV over economic figures at a time when probably neither of them knew they would ever become a president.

The interview, ‘Hot Issues’ hosted by David Ampofo shows John Dramani Mahama who was then the minister of communication during former president Rawlings’ regime defending the government’s economic performance, while Nana Akufo Addo who was also speaking for the NPP tried to punch holes in the state of the economy.

At the time of the interview, bot gentlemen were younger and hardly hard any grey hair.
The video suggests that Akufo Ado and John Mahama’s political journey dates way back, and despite the propaganda, they are not necessarily enemies.
