Court arraigns 2 persons for stealing cows
The suspects reportedly stole sixteen cows belonging to Yusuf Abdullahi.
The cows stolen by the suspects, sixteen in number, are valued at N1 million per one. The suspects have however been granted bail till the case resumes.

Two men, Ibrahim Mohammad and Usman Haruna, have been arrested and arraigned before an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrate’s Court, for allegedly stealing sixteen cow.

According to the Daily Post, the offenders committed the offence on Friday, June 3, 2016, at the Ilafo-Ekiti in Oye Local Government area of the state.
Sgt. Caleb Leranmo, who is the police prosecutor, said the suspects stole sixteen cows valued at a sum of N1 million per one. The cows belonged to Yusuf Abdullahi.
Leranmo  commented that the crime is punishable under Section 390 (9) of the Criminal Code,Cap C16, Laws of Ekiti State.

The suspect pleaded not guilty to the offence, and was granted bail in the sum of N200,000 and two sureties in like sum.
The case has been adjourned till  June 6, 2016 by Chief Magistrate, Aderopo Adegboye, who presided over the matter.
