Marshawn Lynch has reiterated that he is retired despite talk he may make an unexpected comeback.

The former Seattle Seahawks running back gave a rare interview with 60 Minutes Sports, in which he confirmed that he will not return to the NFL.

"I'm done. I'm done," Lynch said. "I enjoyed my time playing. Now it's time to watch my cousins do they thing."

Lynch caused a stir in February when he appeared to announce his retirement during Super Bowl 50 by posting a picture of a pair of cleats hanging from a power line on Twitter.

Since then, he has remained quiet about his retirement, leaving many to wonder if he would return to the field, after all.

Lynch was pressed multiple times on whether he would play again before abruptly ending the line of questioning.

"I'm retired, is that good enough?" Lynch said. "I'm done. I'm not playing football anymore."
