Dan Lydiate to captain Wales against Italy

Dan Lydiate will captain Wales in their final Six Nations game of the tournament and Rhys Webb starts in one of four changes to the side to face Italy in Cardiff on Saturday.

Flanker Lydiate will lead his country??in the absence of Sam Warburton, who suffered concussion during a 25-21 defeat against England last weekend that ended Wales' hopes of winning the title.

Justin Tipuric gets the nod to replace??Warburton in the back row alongside stand-in skipper??Lydiate and??Taulupe Faletau.

Webb made his international comeback off the bench at Twickenham after being sidelined with an ankle injury that caused him to miss the World Cup and the scrum-half gets his chance from the start against Italy??at the expense of Gareth Davies.

Luke Charteris comes in at lock after??Alun Wyn Jones was ruled out with a heel injury, while Hallam Amos starts on the wing as a??result of a heel problem sustained by??Alex Cuthbert and George North takes the number 14 shirt.

Gethin Jenkins,??Jake Ball and Ross Moriarty have been named among the replacements for the game at the??Principality Stadium.

Tomas Francis will also start on the bench if he avoids a suspension after being cited for making contact around the eye area of Dan Cole at??Twickenham.
