Lagos Goes Underwater Following Heavy Rainfall (1)

Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital and nerve center, has been submerged again, following heavy rainfall. The rain, which began in the early hours of Monday, May 20, 2019, caught several residents in traffic as they commuted to work and school. What ensued thereafter was bedlam, cars submerged in several inches of stagnant water and static traffic.
