National Security Denies Freezing COP Timbilah’s Account

The National Security has refuted reports of freezing the accounts of COP Patrick Timbillah.

The National Security has denied media reports it has frozen the accounts of interdicted COP Patrick Timbillah following his alleged complicity in the police recruitment fraud.

In a statement from the Secretariat, the Ghana Police Service is dealing with its own issue and has nothing doing with national security.

“The secretariat wishes to inform you and the general public that all matters pertaining to the police recruitment scam, including the freezing of COP Patrick Timbilla’s accounts, are being handled by the Police Administration,” the statement stated.

It indicated that the media should resort to the Police Administration for all enquiries and information.
