Inter Allies have beatrn Asante Kotoko to join Hearts of Oak as the second Ghanaian club to be verified on Twitter.

The Tema based side has a Twitter following of 13, 600, which falls short of Asante Kotoko’s 37,700, but the former has been given bigger recognition by the social media platform.

Twitter looks at other factors aside the number of followers to get an individual or an institution verified.

Hearts of Oak, with Twitter following of over 39,000 made history as the first Ghanaian club to be verified on Twitter.
