Ghana Premier League Thomas Abbey and Yaw Acheampong receive GPL NASCO monthly awards

Accra Hearts of Oak Star, Thomas Abbey and Elmina Sharks coach, Yaw Acheampong have been named NASCO Premier League player and coach of the month respectively for July.

Thomas Abbey scooped the award ahead of Elmina Sharks' Felix Addo and Stephen Amankona of Berekum Chelsea.

Abbey was in sensational form in July scoring four times in just three matches, and won the NASCO man of the match award twice in the three games he played.

Elmina Sharks' Yaw Acheampong scooped the NASCO coach of the month after leading Elmina Sharks to a remarkable one hundred percent record in July.

 

Acheampong won all four games Sharks played in and thus comfortably won the award ahead of fellow nominees; Medeama's Evans Addotey and Tom Strand of Accra Great Olympics.

The winners will receive a sleek NASCO Elite Q5 smart phone.
