The Outdoor Broadcasting vans by StarTimes is a step forward in ensuring that the domestic league and cup competitions will get enough coverage.

StarTimes signed a ten-year deal with the Ghana Football Association as the media house with the headline Television right for the coverage of the Ghana Premier League, the MTN FA Cup and other domestic competitions.

However, the Chinese based media house had to rely on the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) OB vans to provide feed for its viewers.

Lovers of local football were not happy with the quality of coverage, but the arrival of the OB vans is expected to improve StarTimes coverage.
