Countryman Songo finally blasts Asamoah Gyan for penalty miss

This Countryman Songo 'Fire for Fire' episode dedicated to Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan is just too funny and serious at equal measure.

First of all, Countryman Songo says this is not personal.

In his show for ‘Fire For Fire’, Patrick Osei Agyemang dedicated a huge portion discussing Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.

Popular Black Stars critic Countryman Songo started off by playing a video of the captain on stating he was never going to play a penalty for Ghana again.

Despite the host of Fire For Fire being serious with his analogies and criticisms, his presentation comes off as funny in the in the video.

“You have no business playing penalties for the Black Stars of Ghana,” Patrick Osei Agyemang roared in the video. He continues to say the former Sunderland player has no regard for structures and need to have apologized to Ghana before playing penalties again.

Countryman Songo slams Gyan for not doing anything for the Black Stars but basically score goals for his personal improvement. He also claims Gyan resumed taking penalties for the Black Stars to increase his goal tally for the Black Stars for the praise and glory that comes along with it.

The sports journalist compared Gyan to the likes of other Ghanaian football greats claiming Gyan is yet to reach the heights these former players reached.

Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah also had his fair share of Countryman Songo’s criticism with the Ghana Football Association not going scot free.

“Kwesi Appiah, you are not in charge,” Songo shouts in the show.
