Lamar Odom walks again

Lamar Odom is currently healing faster that we thought!

According to TMZ, the former NBA star is making great progress towards his recovery and has walked for the first time on his own.

Sources tell the site that Lamar took three steps without any help at all, stunning his doctors on Thursday, December 17. Previously, the 36-year-old had only been able to move around with a walker.

There was no word on whether Odom's estranged wife Khloe Kardashian was with him when he made the remarkable move or what her reaction was. But fans are so sure she's thrilled!

The 31-year-old reality star has been making medical decisions on Odom's behalf since he was found unconscious in October after a massive drug overdose.

Kardashian filed for divorce two years ago but halted proceedings after her husband's near-death experience.

Lamar's brain injury seems to be gradually healing too. He was recently able to recognize a hospital employee after failing to know who members of his own family were earlier in the process, according to TMZ.
